“ROARING FIRES AND ACHING BONES AND ASHES LONG SINCE GONE”

STORY NOTES:

This is a story that draws together the incidences of fires in Jess Harper’s life shown in Laramie, and connects them, as his family memories were connected to a tragic fire in his past.  It also will connect to my other stories, although they aren’t referred to here this time (just a bit of a reference to Francie), they still remain tied in.

This story also continues the strong bond of friendship concerning Jess and Andy, and unites Andy with his home again.

* I have not been able to see any Laramie that “fill in” on the other Harper that was saved in the fire. But as Jess once said that Francie was the only one worth anything in “FUGITIVE ROAD”, I chose to think of that person being an older brother looking out mostly for himself.  I used the name Johnny, from Jess using the name “Johnny Hart” in “THE GENERAL MUST DIE” maybe he used the name of his brother, as possibly he grew up hearing this name quite often and it would come to mind fast… SO as you read the story feel free to change that in your mind if you know the correct facts, sure don’t want to mess up Laramie! Have fun!.
