ROBERT FULLER – a hero softens.

It is here: Robert Fuller is finally shooting his first German movie. An exciting love story with a lot of action and a tenderer Bob than you are used to seeing.

At the hotel “Tyrol” in Altaussee (Austria) it is like any other evening. First you pour coffee, then water, then milk and finally a generous shot of cognac. French cognac. The mix is Bob Fuller’s (34) recipe for a “nightcap.” He swears by it. Bob Fuller is shooting the Technicolor movie “Midsummernight” in Austria. For weeks he has been saying to BRAVO “My truest fans are the German fans. I would love to work with a German team again in the future. Of course, it’ll have to be a good story. I don’t want to disappoint my fans.”

“Midsummernight” is a good story.

Bob Fuller, the Western hero in “LARAMIE”, which quickly became a magnet like no other, plays a young Norwegian, Tore. Tore is a loner. A dark shadow follows him as a murder suspect; until the truth is revealed and his innocence has been proved Tore must fight hard. Tore seeks to preserve his honor, and his love for a farmer’s virginal daughter.

The movie is shot in Norway and in Altaussee in Saltzkammergut, Austria. BRAVO has previewed the first Technicolor cut. Bob Fuller by a 100 yard high waterfall’ Bob Fuller in the mountains above the tree line; Bob Fuller in a snowstorm; Bob Fuller fighting the wolves. Brave, strong, undaunted – Bob Fuller as we know him... but love makes the hero soften...

The shooting in Norway was tough and strenuous for all, for the star and the team. In Altaussee it was much easier. Bob Fuller stayed in a small hotel room, just like the others. He prefers to lounge downstairs in the lobby with colleagues and the technicians. He calls the wife of one of the set directors “Mama.” Upstairs in his room are framed photographs of Bob’s wife Patty (22) and his children, Robert (3) and Christine-Ann (1-1/2). He only brings jeans and colorful shirts in his suitcase. And cowboy boots!

He enjoys his favorite dish: Knockwurst with sauerkraut. Once a week, on Saturdays, Bob Fuller goes out. Mostly a cozy, local restaurant with music and good food. Like f.inst Knockwurst with sauerkraut.

Caption 1:     For his role Bob Fuller had his hair streaked blond, which goes well with his blue eyes and tanned face.

Caption 2:     Bob Fuller with rifle:  Bob Fuller likes to hunt when he has time. In Austria he doesn’t have time. He films. Therefore he only had time for this portrait memorial photograph for the family album. (Bob with stuffed hunting trophy.)

Caption 3:     Marianne Hoffman (24) is happy to have Bob Fuller as a partner in her first starring role.

Caption 5:     Fishing is Bob Fuller’s passion. Every spare minute you see him standing in the river casting his line. Trout fishing is his favorite. And he caught one!
